Group PACIFIC

(INDIGENOUS PEOPLES OF THE PACIFIC)

 

Mission: Study the sacred dances of the indigenous peoples of Australia, New Zealand, Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia, and the syncretisms between their spiritualities, Christianity, and other religions of Africans who arrived as slaves.

 

Objectives

  • Approach as many ethnic groups as possible and gain their trust in our belief that their sacred dances constitute a precious intangible heritage that we wish to preserve as much as possible.
  • Online Seminars (at least one per year
  • Constitution of INVENTORIES OF SACRED DANCES from various regions
  • Creation of IN SITU EVENTS (presentations, conferences, festivals …)
    at UNESCO or any country using the logo “Dance and Spirituality”
