Father José Palmas recently danced flamenco at the Nuestra Señora de los Angeles Church in Malaga, Spain (video below). He was dressed in full liturgical attire.

A female choir in the front row sang and tapped the bells. Palmas danced and clapped almost like a woman, lifting his alb to give himself more room for movement.

Later, he told local media that his grandfather was a gypsy and that dancing had always been a natural part of his family: “Dancing gives a joyful image of the Gospels, the Mass, and culture.”
